Machine Control Models & Earthwork Takeoffs in Nevada

Nevada grading concentrates hard — the Las Vegas valley building against its mountains, Reno-Sparks industrial growth along I-80, and a whole lot of rock in between. TCL Consulting delivers earthwork takeoffs, 3D machine control models, and remote GPS support to Nevada contractors, remotely.

Quantities You Can Trust on Nevada Bids

Caliche, washes, and hillside cuts make Nevada quantities easy to blow. We take off cut/fill, materials, and haul from your plans and CAD, and surface the document conflicts — rock notes, shrink factors, drainage tie-ins — before they surface on your invoice.

Grade-Control Models for Nevada Equipment

From a Henderson subdivision bench to a North Las Vegas industrial pad or a Sparks warehouse, we build finish grade, subgrade, and phased surfaces that match the plans and load clean on your machines.

Remote GPS Support Across Nevada

Out past the valley, support trucks get scarce fast. We remote into your data collector's problem, fix files and localization, and keep the machine cutting — wherever in Nevada it's parked.

Common Questions

Site plans, grading sheets, and the engineering drawings get a takeoff moving. For machine control models we need current CAD or surface data, alignments, and control — a PDF alone is not enough to build a model your machines can trust. Every job also starts with a document review that flags conflicts and missing information before building begins, so problems surface on paper instead of in caliche and rock.

Plans change; the files keep up. Reissued grading gets folded into the takeoff or model, and if the scale of the change affects cost or timing, that is agreed before the revision is built — no surprise invoices.

Takeoff pricing is flat-rate by site size: $249 up to an acre, $499 from 1–10 acres, $895 from 10–20, and $1,349 for 20-plus. The rate is the same whether the site sits in the Las Vegas valley or out along the I-80 industrial growth. Machine control model pricing runs through the calculator on our pricing page — enter the acreage and you have your number. Larger or unusually complex sites are always quoted before any work starts.

Most takeoffs come back in days, not weeks — a straightforward pad near the Las Vegas valley often in a couple of days, a complex phased site in up to a week, with the timeline fixed in the proposal. A 48-hour rush option (+20%) exists for the bids that cannot wait.

There is no site visit — files, models, and support are all delivered remotely to Nevada crews from the Las Vegas valley to Reno-Sparks. Stuck-on-grade calls are handled the same way, through the data. The contractor stays responsible for field control, localization, and verification before the model runs a machine.
