Machine Control Models & Earthwork Takeoffs in Georgia

Georgia moves as much red clay as anywhere in the country — metro Atlanta grading on every side of town, port-driven warehouse work spreading out of Savannah along I-16, and megasites landing in between. TCL Consulting provides Georgia contractors with earthwork takeoffs, 3D machine control models, and remote GPS support, delivered remotely.

Bid Georgia Work with Real Quantities

Piedmont clay shrinks, granite shows up early, and Coastal Plain sites flip the script entirely. We build cut/fill maps, material totals, and haul quantities from your plans and CAD, and put the document conflicts in front of you before you price them.

3D Models Built for Georgia Grade Control

An I-85 corridor megasite pad, a Gwinnett subdivision phase, a Savannah-area warehouse — we deliver finish grade, subgrade, and phased surfaces that match the plans and run clean on your grade-control equipment.

Stuck on Grade in Georgia? We Remote In

Atlanta traffic turns a service call into a lost day. We skip the drive — remote into the data collector's problem, fix files and localization, and get the machine back on grade.

"A split-screen image showcasing construction machine control technology: on the left, a bulldozer leveling soil at a construction site under a clear sky; in the center, a digital display showing real-time 3D terrain data for machine control; on the right, an excavator performing precise grading work in a similar outdoor setting."

Common Questions

Yes — every takeoff and model is delivered remotely, and it works the same in metro Atlanta, Savannah, or the I-16 warehouse corridor and the megasites between. When a crew is stuck on grade, remote GPS support gets into the data and fixes it without waiting on a truck. Field control, localization, and verification stay with your crew — we build the model, you own the site.

Send the plans, the grading information, and any CAD the engineer will release — for models, current surface data, alignments, and control are required, because a PDF by itself will not produce a reliable machine file. Before anything is built we read the full set and send back the questions it raises; on Georgia sites that review has a way of paying for itself.

Send the new sheets and the model gets revised — it happens on most jobs and it is priced like the routine event it is. Larger redesigns can shift schedule or cost, and that conversation always happens up front.

Takeoff pricing is flat-rate by site size: $249 up to an acre, $499 from 1–10 acres, $895 from 10–20, and $1,349 for 20-plus. The rate is the same whether the site sits in metro Atlanta or out along the I-16 warehouse corridor and the megasites between. Machine control model pricing runs through the calculator on our pricing page — enter the acreage and you have your number. Larger or unusually complex sites are always quoted before any work starts.

Simple sites usually turn around in a couple of days; intricate ones can run up to a week, and your proposal states the exact timeline before work starts. When a Georgia letting is breathing down your neck, rush delivery inside 48 hours is available for 20% on top.
